Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us! Whether you are volunteering individually or with a group, each person must sign in using their own account. Many volunteers are needed for the Youth & Government District Conference to ensure that the students participating have a quality experience to serve as room monitors, trial evaluators, committee evaluators and more. You can sign up for as many shifts as you would like. Shifts are listed according to time and role. Mock Trial Evaluator will help us ensure that students have a quality experience by: Evaluating mock trial sessions and scoring teams accordingly. *Legal background recommended but not required. Training will be provided. Appellate/Moot Court Evaluator will help us ensure that students have a quality experience by: Evaluating moot trial sessions and scoring teams accordingly. *Legal background recommended but not required. Training will be provided. Legislative and SAF Committee Evaluators help us ensure that students have a quality experience by: Evaluating the performance of Bill or Proposal presentations: Public speaking skills. Quality of questions. Overall engagement in committee. Training will be provided. Lunch Helper volunteers will help us ensure that students have a quality experience by: Organizing/sorting lunch items in designated area. Distributing lunch to students, and support staff. Cleaning/storing of extra items at end of shift. Thank you for investing your time in our youth!
